Suck It Up

Suck It Up - Foliar spray

Suck It Up is the latest innovative product from PlantLife Products. Suck It Up combines a penetrating agent with a coloured pH indicator to give your plants the maximum amount of foliar spray components in the safest way possible. Other products forcibly open the stoma of the leaf, potentially allowing pathogens inside. Suck It Up safely takes the spray through the space between epithelial cells.  Suck It Up works at any pH level; in fact it will let the grower know when the pH is too extreme for the plant
Other Products Vs Suck It Up

  • Other products: Leaf penetration at high alkaline pH.
  • Suck It Up: Superior leaf penetration AT ALL  pH levels.
  • Other products:  Coloured to remind the user that it's in the spray bottle.
  • Suck It Up: Coloured pH indicator to remind its user to adjust the pH.
  • Other products: One liter will produce 16.7 liters of spray.
  • Suck It Up: One liter will produce 67 liters of spray.
  • Other products: Opens the stoma on the leaf allowing the spray to enter to opening.  Research has shown bacteria and fungi can also enter the open stoma.
  • Suck It Up: Helps the spray move through the waxy cuticle as well as the space between the epithelial cells which is too small for microbes to enter.
 Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q:  Why should I care about the pH of my foliar spray?
  • A: The same reason that you should care about the pH of your nutrient solution, plants operate at a very specific pH range.  When a plant encounters an extreme level of pH it will have to expend energy to bring pH levels back into the normal range.  Most micronutrients and plant growth regulators will settle out when the pH is too high.  Many pesticides will rapidly degrade in high alkaline conditions.
  • Q: What is the difference between wetting agents, adjuvants, and penetrants?
  • A: An adjuvant will prevent water from beading on the leaf by lowering the surface tension of water.  Wetting agents work on the same principle as an adjuvant but have very different chemistry and are usually used in potting media.  Penetrants will increase the permeability of the waxy cuticle and helps the spray enter the space between the epithelial cells.
  • Q: When can I use Suck It Up?
  • A: You can use it any time day or night, throughout the life cycle of the plant.  However, when using any foliar spray care must be taken not to spray areas where there is poor air circulation (i.e. flowers) since mold may develop.
